Meet the Characters

The Little Green Pig

The Little Green Pig has one sister. His mom stays home to watch over his little sister while his father goes to work at construction sites. The Little Green Pig’s house is located just under a mud pit. He has assumed the role of leader in his group of friends, as he was one of the first, along with Sile. He enjoys exploring new areas and discovering new things. The Little Green Pig likes to help others. He tries to make sure everyone is happy and safe. He is not always perfect but he tries his best.

Gabriel

Gabriel has 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He and his family live in an underground tunnel. Gabriel’s family is very poor. He gets most of his things from junk thrown in a landfill, which was created by a cabin in the woods that dumps its trash here. Since he has so many siblings, he rarely gets new stuff or toys. Gabriel has to hide his stuff and food because his siblings will steal it. His mom works for a cockroach who sells junk to other animals. His dad was eaten by a hawk when he was just a small pup. His mom is always telling him to be cautious and stay safe because that’s how rats survive, but Gabriel doesn’t want to be scared of everything like Sile. He likes action and living on the edge. Gabriel likes to spend time with his friends because they don’t make fun of him and don’t try to take his stuff. But, he never really told them that he was poor, and tries his best to hide it. He first tried to hang out with other rats but they picked on him for being so small and being poor. Also, rats are just mean.

Sile

Sile is an only child. He lives in a large pond, and his home is near the shore. Sile worries a lot about his friend’s safety. After all, the world is a dangerous place. He is afraid of big fish and large patches of grass or plants. This is because when he was younger, he got lost in the deeper end of the pond. The place was filled with tall aquatic plants. There, he was attacked by a large bass. Afraid he would meet another large fish, Sile spends most of his time outside the water. Except for really hot days. He is smart and knows many things because of his love for books.

Angelina

Angelina has 3 brothers and lives in a burrow. She enjoys playing but doesn’t like to get dirty. Her pink bow was given to her by Cynthia. Her 3 other brothers like to play rough and mess with her. She hates rough housing and messy things because of her brothers. Although they’re all the same age, she feels and acts like the oldest and is more mature. Angelina doesn’t always get along with her friends but she knows that they have her back in hard times. Sometimes she doesn’t always agree with their choices, which can lead to arguments.

Cynthia

Cynthia has one brother and one sister. Her house is a large nest which sits on the ground. Cynthia’s family is rich and noble. Her parents are strict and try to teach her proper manners. They always tell her to act like a true peacock, and not behave like a hooligan. Her parents are big on family honor and not embarrassing the family name. They don’t really like her friends. Cynthia’s family also believes in using artificial colorings to make their feathers more vibrant. So, she uses paints and dyes to make her feathers colorful. Cynthia, however, hates all the fanciness and glamor. She wants to be reckless and more like Gabriel. Anything too fancy, she gives to Angelina.
